I have no idea what your taste in music is but there is a rock festival going on in Paris the 9-10-11th weekend!

That sounds pretty awesome! I'm a music lover & live event lover, honestly I can get into pretty much anything. Thanks for that info

Can't get enough time off to make the most of the trip for the cost of going. Going to plan for that next year but still going to do something this year

London: book ceremony of the keys; it is free but you have to book ahead of time (see ceremony at Tower of London at night). The English bus has amazing tours and their tour buses are small so they can get to places most others cannot. They know their stuff and are funny! Did Stonehenge and Cotswold tours both amazing. Paris: easy to get to vimy ridge by train and it is really an amazing experience, makes you proud to be a Canadian. Museum pass is great; Rodin museum is small but one of our highlights. It is worthwhile to stay in 7th neighbourhood; everything is walkable (pretty safe; not exciting with clubs; but true French charm). Stayed in small place next to rue cler; highly recommended! We did Europe tour that husband planned out; feel free to ask any other questions (he loves the stuff)

We were in Paris 6 days in September. Loved it
️. Made up a wish list, bought a Rick Steeves Paris travel book n watched his YouTube stuff
. Bought a Museum Pass and transit pass (Metro) on arrival for 6 days each. Museum Pass is THEE best. No waiting in line, digging for money. We accidentally booked the wrong hotel, but was very pleased with the mistake! We stayed @ Hotel de Arts (there's 4 of them) located in Montemarte 18th ? District. Where Van Gogh n all the greats hung out
. Metro is easy. June will be hot. Went to London for a week in 2010. I'm happy I went, but found it a difficult city to navigate, found people loud n unpleasant
. Sites: Tower of London (half day for sure), Hard Rock Cafe (the very 1st one) you have to go across the street to the Rock Shop-it's a bank vault in the basement. You can touch/hold Jimmy Page's guitar, great flea markets- at Knotting Hill n Camden ?. Great walking, the Princess Diana Memorial Walk to Buckingham Palace, walk (very far) to the famous Abbey Road Crosswalk
. Loads of stuff to do. I didn't care for the tube, I felt like a mole always underground. Watch for the skinny steep, steps
