It’s super easy, and affordable to do it on your own. Between trains, or renting a vehicle, Italy is very easy to navigate

I agree with above, and that it's very easy to book yourself (flights, accommodation, individual tours etc). In regards to tours, Get Your Guide is an awesome app to book all different types of tours. I used them for several tours in Portugal and it was super easy to use, I definitely recommend. Planning and navigating your trip is part of the fun of it all

We traveled from Rome to Orvietto, Florence, and Venice on the train and it was inexpensive, comfortable, fast and safe. We did some day trips on buses as well. Travel in Italy is very easy. You can go from Venice to Croatia on a very fast boat, or you could travel to Triest on a train to enter there.

Does anyone here have maps of Croatia to give away?
