In Cusco there's an Irish bar self proclaimed as the highest Irish bar in the world. BEST Shepard's pie of your life, and the coffee chocolate stout made us go back 3x in 3 days!

Hands down, Quinsa at Flying Dog hostel in Urubamba! Fantastic friendly chef who had worked in several countries before going there.

Kion in Cusco. I still dream of this place and we went twice while we were there (something we never do). If you like fish, the trout is amazing. Their dumplings are also amazing.
PUKA PUKARA in Urubamba has THE BEST ceviche I had in Peru. Which is saying a lot. Their sushi was good, too.

In cusco, we asked a lot of the local staff for recommendations and the 3 that kept coming up were: Uchu Peruvian steakhouse, Ceviche seafood kitchen, and Pachpapa. Tried all three and they were all winners. In Lima, Central Restaurante. 3 michelin stars, top 10 in the world without the north american prices.
