Copenhagen is very bike friendly - rent one and explore! I particularly liked the museum of Art and the little mermaid.

I did a solo trip to Copenhagen during the winter two years ago. Get the Copenhagen card. Visit Christiana (a weird but cool experience), take a day trip to Malmo (Sweden), do the boat tour and hop-on hop-off bus if you get the chance to especially because it's winter time and will be cold outside, there's a beautiful department store called Illums Bolighus that I loved. I loved the fact that during the winter time, almost all the restaurants have their patio heaters/flames on and blankets available to use so that you can still people-watch in the winter time.
Food can get quite pricey in Copenhagen (higher cost of living), so stock up on some food at a local supermarket like Netto (which is open very late into the nights). Keep in mind that many stores close early during the weekend and weekends, even Starbucks would close at like 8pm or something super early, which was very surprising.

A visit to the art museum, Louisiana. It’s outside of Copenhagen, but the train will take you there. Very easy.
You will have to try our “Gløgg” a bit like gluhwein and our “æbleskiver” (pancake dough made as little round cakes. You will find that every where in December.
Go to Ida Davidsen to have danish open faced sandwiches (smørrebrød).

I second the Copenhagen Card, which covered admission for many of the major tourist attractions. Some of my favourites included: Kronborg Castle, Tivoli Gardens (go at night), the Cisterns, Louisiana Museum. In terms of food, it's pricey but you can definitely find restaurants for under $20CDN if you do a bit of research in advance. Copenhagen has a pretty cosmopolitan food scene, so ramen, vietnamese, pizza, etc., are all decent cheaper options.

definitely check out Church of our Savior. You can climb the stairs inside and then continue your journey almost to the top outside (weather / season permitting). Otherwise, the church interior is absolutely stunning. As well, it is only a five minute walk from Christiania

Market hall for food. Take public transit, works better here than anywhere I’ve been.

I went to Copenhagen on a solo trip a few years ago and I loved it. The Louisiana Museum is a must see. It’s a bit further out of the city, but well worth the trip. I spent an entire afternoon there and I can’t wait to go back.

Yes to the card! Some of the best pizza in the world at Baest, tacos at Hija de Sanchez, fantastic burgers at Gas Burger, ramen at Slurp. Louisiana has great exhibits. And hot dogs from the stand outside the round tower
