You can do it on your own. Going through an agent will cost you more.

I should also mention this is only a one day cruise that does all the same things that you would do in a 3d2n cruise. I only wanted one day.

For cruises its best to book via a cruise agent. Most cruise agency company buys blocks in advance and get a lot of perks and discounts. Sometimes even cheaper than buying directly from the cruise company themselves.

I booked through halonghub.com for Pelican Cruise. Agreed it is cheaper to book through an agent, and they seem to have availability on days that the direct cruise line's website is showing as fully booked...

i just did the dragon legend one and it was amazing!!! http://www.raincouverbeauty.com/.../dragon-legend-halong... regardless of the crusie line, i'd highly recommend doing a 3D2N, it'll be way more relaxing and the scenary is so beautiful
