Azul Sensatori outside of Cancun. Upgrade your room to get a room on the lazy river close to the Adult pool! Wonderful restaurants and beautiful resort. My daughter got married there and 45 of us spent a week there. Everyone said it was the nicest resort they have stayed at. This was 4 years ago.
Charlene
I have heard this about the azul before, will have to check it out! Thx!
Carol
I actually agree with Sharron. The waters around those Caribbean islands are beautiful. I would even suggest going on a Eastern or Southern Caribbean cruise and see all of those beautiful islands. We did that for my 60th birthday and it was a wonderful trip.
Carol
Charlene, if you decide on a cruise (which would be my first choice) the Celebrity Cruise Lines are wonderful. I’ve gone with 3 different companies and Celebrity tops them all. If you can afford a balcony room go for it. You can sign up for notifications on cruise specials at a site called CruCon. Www.crucon.com Eastern or Southern Caribbean is best. If they stop at Grand Cayman you can snorkel with the stingrays.

If you have never been to the Caribbean before, I would say go all out----by pass Mexico, Dominican Republic and Cuba (although they will have the least expensive all inclusives) and check out Barbados, St. Lucia or Tortola.......
Charlene
I was actually looking at the sandals la toc in st lucia! It looks amazing!
Sharron
St. Lucia is a beautiful spot....
Kamini
Agree 100%!
Kimberly
I agree! We stayed at the Sandals Grand St. Lucian. It was an amazing vacation! They treated us like royalty. St. Lucia is a beautiful place!

Definitely a cruise! From Puerto Rico, so you get to visit more of the smaller lovely islands. San Juan is a beautiful city to visit, people speak English, very friendly. It is a more interesting and culturally diverse trip, more memorable than just being in an all inclusive resort.
Yvonne
What was the cruise called...and how do you book it...how long is it and what port does it leave out of
Duška
7 nights should be fine. ..plus 2-3 nights in San Juan. I took Royal Caribbean and Costa cruises, both were great. They can slightly differ in terms of islands they visit. Make sure the one you pick includes St. Lucia.

Ok
Yvonne
Duška Julius-DeLorme thanks for the info. We would like to do this...do you know of an all inclusive in Puerto rico that is not too far from the boat dock...we thought the first week puerto rico and second week cruize..
Duška
Yvonne I have never been in an all inclusive in San Juan. I am sure there are good options, breakfast included. There is a lot to see and explore in the old city and many eateries and restaurants. The other option is to go to a beachfront hotel and stay there. Do day trips to the old city. Here's one that's really nice. http://www.booking.com/Share-wvNxGbt

Roatan. Best beach and snorkel combo in the world! Stay in West Bay at Infinity Bay Resort or Grand Roatan. Google pictures. It really is like that!
Janessa
Go to sandals in Grenada!!!
Kat
Yeah skip Mexico, especially Cancun - lots of crime going on right now and I always get sick there. Puerto Vallarta in Mexico is nice thou if you wanted to explore.
Kristen
Find a Riu resort, they are very nice!!! Dominican Republic is a beautiful Caribbean island
Kristen
If you want to go for the best, try Sandals or Secrets. They are the big players for weddings, anni's etc
Noranna
Try Antigua. Sand is like baby powder, friendly, beautiful, English speaking and a beach for every day of the year. HEAVEN.
Charlene
Kristen yes, I've been looking at all of the sandals resorts, hard to choose which one to try out!!
Kristen
Charlene with sandals, I don’t think you can go wrong!
Doreen
Punta Cana Bavaro Beach is one of 10 top beaches in the world. Beautiful! Stay on the Caribbean side. We just came back from Paradisus. Beautiful resort and beaches.
Kristen
Doreen I would disagree. We were there a year ago and it really depend son the resort....sadly a lot of the beach area has washed away and erosion is happening along the resorts
Our beach was great, but as we walked south, the erosion areas got worse.
Doreen
Kristen Sad to hear of the erosion.
We were there in Feb/2018 at Bahai Principa and the beach was good, but on the Atlantic side, and back end of March on Caribbean side and beaches were beautiful , 4 weeks ago. There was no evidence of erosion. I prefer Caribbean side.
Charlie
Go someplace where you can go swimming with Stingrays!! Most Caribbean places offer this. You can't go to the Caribbean without going for a swim with the stingrays!
Charlene
That sounds amazing!
Charlie
Charlene when my son & I went 4 years ago...

Staying at the Luxury Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado in the Dominican right now. It’s seriously amazing here as it’s on its own island. It’s adults only till May 1 though. I don’t want to go home on Saturday
Lindsie
