To the ocean in Trinidad where I grew up to play in the sand; waves and learn about sea life.
Erin
Japan

Erin japan is awesome, but i would avoid travel there with toddlers. Narrow elevators & long line up, we went up and down the stairs carrying stroller cause my 2yo was napping.
Erin
Irene we had ours in a backpack lol
We did a third of the country and didn't find it cumbersome at all but I guess it does depend on the type of traveling one is looking to experience
Irene
Erin awe backpack, it never cross my mind! Japan is still amazing and i'm looking forward to go back
Kathleen
Somewhere easy like a beach vacation. Little children do not like site-seeing too much.
Sherri
Gramma's house. Then you go..
Emily
The backyard
Nicole
The Ocean. I can’t wait to take my niece and nephews there. Picking shells, and sand castles.
Geoff
All inclusive are kind of nice for kids. No stress to make meals etc for mom. Most resorts have a daycare so mom and dad can get a minute to themselves.
Kathleen
An all inclusive resort with a day care on site.
Coralie
I would agree with a nice all inclusive that is geared for families….. lots to keep the kiddos busy and some have a daycare when mom and dad need a bit of a break…… Hawaii is also really nice flr kiddos
Krystal
A resort with childcare and a flight that’s not too long, Mexico maybe?
Or a airbnb type rental in the okanagan where you can take them back for naps and make some of your own food..
1 and 3 are difficult travel ages, we didn’t start taking our kids until about age 6. And by the time they were 11/12 we took them all the way to Asia
Julie
I loved Palm Springs with my littles. All inclusives were amazing too… meals and snacks 24/7 with no work for me!
Sasha
Disneyland
Amy
Bahamas- Atlantis, there’s ocean, waterpark for littles, aquarium, movie theatre.
So amazing
we have taken our young kids a few times and they always have the best time

Hawaii, I travelled there with a 1 yr old and you feel safe and you know there is clean water, etc…

We are in Costa Rica right now with my 6 and 3 year old and it is amazing! So child friendly, lots to do, interesting things to see and everyone is so friendly. We love it.
Andrea
I also agree with all inclusive in the carribean. Short flights and lots for them to do if you pick the right resort.
Also Hawaii is wonderful for kids. We take our littles every year. Rent a car and air bnb and your good to do whatever you want.
Sofía
All inclusive in a swim-up/out suite. When kids are sleeping or napping, you can enjoy the pool.

Traveling with Toddlers: A Dream Destination Revealed
As a parent of a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old, finding the perfect travel destination that caters to the needs and interests of both little ones can be a daunting task. However, after careful consideration and research, I have discovered a place that promises to enchant and delight the entire family: New Zealand.
New Zealand: A Playground for Adventurers and Nature Lovers
New Zealand, an island nation in the southwestern Pacific Ocean, is a true gem for families seeking an unforgettable adventure. With its breathtaking landscapes, diverse wildlife, and a plethora of kid-friendly activities, this destination offers the perfect blend of excitement and relaxation.
For the 1-year-old, New Zealand's lush green forests and tranquil beaches provide a safe and engaging environment for exploration. Imagine your little one's delight as they discover the gentle waves lapping at their toes or chase after the playful seabirds along the sandy shores. The fresh air and wide-open spaces will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on their developing senses.
Meanwhile, the 3-year-old will revel in the countless opportunities for adventure. From hiking through enchanting rainforests and spotting native wildlife like the iconic kiwi bird, to embarking on a thrilling whale-watching excursion or marveling at the bubbling geothermal wonders, New Zealand promises to ignite their curiosity and sense of wonder.
Family-Friendly Activities and Accommodations
One of the many advantages of choosing New Zealand as a travel destination with toddlers is the abundance of family-friendly accommodations and activities. From cozy holiday parks with playgrounds and petting zoos to luxury resorts with dedicated kids' clubs and childcare services, families can find the perfect fit for their needs and preferences.
Moreover, New Zealand's compact size and well-developed infrastructure make it easy to navigate with little ones in tow. Rental cars and motorhomes are readily available, allowing families to embark on road trips and explore the country's diverse regions at their own pace.
A Lifetime of Memories
Traveling with toddlers may present its challenges, but the rewards are immeasurable. By choosing New Zealand as your dream destination, you'll not only create cherished memories for your family but also instill a sense of wonder and appreciation for nature in your children from an early age.
So, pack your bags, grab those tiny adventurers, and prepare to embark on a journey that will leave an indelible mark on your hearts and minds. New Zealand awaits, offering a playground of endless possibilities and a lifetime of memories to be made.
