Book air only from your departure and then hotel only with your choice of hotel. If it's sunwing they quote you price hotel only including all inclusive and so does air transat.

I second that, use am agent. You can do some checking online to see which carriers go which days. We have done that and it works fine.

I tried to do this on my recent trip to Vegas. Two of us were leaving from YYJ and one was leaving from YVR and, even though we were connecting through YVR anyway, they said it was a "divination" (I think?) and would cost us all +15%

Booking an All-Inclusive Vacation from Different Cities

Introduction

Planning a vacation with friends or loved ones can be an exciting experience, but it can also present some logistical challenges when you live in different cities. One such challenge is booking an all-inclusive vacation package when you and your travel companions are departing from different locations. In this blog post, we'll explore some tips and strategies for making the booking process smoother and ensuring a seamless start to your getaway.

Coordinate with Your Travel Companions

The first and most crucial step is to coordinate with your travel companions. Discuss your preferred travel dates, budget, and desired destination. Once you've settled on these details, it's time to start researching potential vacation packages and flight options.

Utilize Travel Booking Websites

Many popular travel booking websites, such as Expedia, Travelocity, and Priceline, offer the option to book multiple departures under a single reservation. This feature allows you and your travel companions to book flights from different cities while still securing the same all-inclusive package deal.

When searching for vacation packages, pay close attention to the flight details and ensure that the arrival and departure times at your destination align for all travelers. This will make coordinating ground transportation and checking into your resort much easier.

Consider Booking Separately

If you're unable to find a suitable package deal that accommodates multiple departure cities, another option is to book the flights and hotel separately. While this approach may require a bit more effort, it can sometimes result in lower overall costs or a wider range of flight and hotel options.

When booking separately, coordinate with your travel companions to ensure that you arrive at your destination within a reasonable timeframe of each other. This will make it easier to meet up and begin your vacation together.

Utilize Travel Agents or Resort Specialists

If you're feeling overwhelmed by the booking process or have specific requirements, consider enlisting the help of a travel agent or resort specialist. These professionals have access to a wealth of resources and can often secure better deals or help navigate complex booking scenarios.

When working with a travel agent or resort specialist, be upfront about your situation and the need to coordinate multiple departure cities. They can provide guidance on the best options and handle the booking process on your behalf
