Lemonade was a good cheap chain option. You get mains and sides less than $12. Large portions. Also Santee Alley had its fair share of tasty taco stands set up like hot dog vendors. Skip in and out burger. Not really worth the hype. Eggslut good option and so was Horse Theif BBQ at Grand Central Market.

Vanilla Black in Echo Park is a staple for me. The owners are super sweet and the best half lavender, half vanilla lattes in town! Anything you get from them is amazing!
Malibu Farms Cafe (or the Restaurant if you're looking for a nice dinner without a crazy price tag) everything they serve is fresh, organic and local. Plus its on a pier in malibu, great for a nice lunch with an amazing ocean view.
Lemonade is a cheap chain place that makes some really fresh foods, cafeteria style so you pick what you want
Randys Donuts out in Inglewood is open 24 hours and honestly the best
Dollar Hits Temple on sundays has amazing Filipino street food for $1/skewer
101 Coffee Shop is perfect for brunch and not far from hollywood boulevard. Good price point for the quality of food you get

Best Coffee Shops and Eateries in LA
Los Angeles is a bustling city with no shortage of incredible coffee shops and eateries. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to sip your morning brew or a casual place to grab a bite, LA has something to offer for everyone. Here are some of my top recommendations:
Coffee Shops
- Intelligentsia Coffee - With multiple locations around LA, Intelligentsia is a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts. Their carefully sourced and roasted beans make for an exceptional cup of coffee.
- Go Get Em Tiger - This trendy coffee shop in Larchmont Village offers a cozy atmosphere and creative coffee drinks, as well as delicious pastries and light bites.
- Verve Coffee Roasters - Originating from Santa Cruz, Verve has made its way to LA, bringing its top-notch coffee and inviting ambiance to several locations across the city.
Eateries
- Gjelina - Located in Venice, Gjelina is a popular spot for its seasonal, California-inspired cuisine and lively atmosphere. Don't miss their wood-fired pizzas and creative small plates.
- Howlin' Ray's - If you're a fan of hot chicken, Howlin' Ray's is a must-visit. Prepare to wait in line for their Nashville-style hot chicken, but it's well worth it.
- Ramen Tatsunoya - Craving authentic Japanese ramen? Head to Ramen Tatsunoya in Old Town Pasadena for some of the best ramen in LA.
- Badmaash - This family-owned Indian restaurant in Downtown LA serves up delicious and affordable Indian street food in a casual, vibrant setting.
Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely meal, LA's diverse culinary scene is sure to satisfy your cravings. Enjoy your trip and happy exploring!
