Which Mexico resort should I choose for my December trip?

We stayed at Sandso this winter. Loved the location. Could walk everywhere so didn't feel trapped at the resort.
Roxy
Bahia Principe is great, and you have access to 3 different resorts.
Jeremy
Principe coba is newer, but no where near the beach...long walk or you take the shuttle. Dreams Los Cabo is my favorite...we we're married there, however, the waves are huge and you may not be allowed in the ocean. Palladium is nice and the beach is great. The Mayan side is the nicest, and closer to Playa you go, the better the beach. Resorts in Cabo shut down at around 11pm for some reason, weird. Are you looking to mellow out at the pool/beach, are you looking to site see, etc...?
Tracy
Likely mostly mellow, with a bit of site seeing. Leaning towards Cabo.
Jeremy
Cabo is perfect then. Rent a jet ski from the marina and go for a rip by the arch and divorce/lovers beach. Then off to Cabo Wabo for some bevies. Have fun wherever you end up!!

Impact travel is amazing and Liz is very negligible. No fees. The Hyatt Ziva is supposed to be amazing but I haven't stayed there.
Nadine
I have stayed at Hyatt Ziva, the food and service was amazing. We had a swim up room, we gave the waitress $20 and she kept delivering drinks and even lunch to us in our own pool. We booked via westjet vacations. The transportation was included but I hired our own private transport for $100 so I didn't buy a timeshare while trying to get to my hotel!
Tracy
Did you just use a cab on arrival?
Nadine
Tracy no I had the hotel hire a van for me. There were 7 of us with luggage so a cab wouldn’t work.
Kelly
Hyatt Ziva Los Cobos ... simply amazing! Everything about it.
Lisa
Just got back from the Royal Solaris Los Cabos!!!! Absolutely loved it and had a great time. Entertainment was awesome, food was great, drinks were awesome , service was amazing. Right across from the Kiss bar and shopping. Don't have one bad thing to say and a group of 7 went
Leticia
Grand palladium was fantastic! Lots of activities
Helen
If the agent has already worked with you and advised you, it would be disrespectful to book elsewhere, or at least not pay them for their time.
Grand Palladiuk Vallarta is a great place. Good food, excellent staff, lovely beach.
Erin
Pick the farthest one south. Mexico is cold in December.
Lary
I would check:
- Resort Size (total number of Rooms) matters when it comes to beach chairs by the pool
- A-la-carte restriction (some only offers 3/week)
- Do they need Reservations (is you care)
- Total Number is restaurants vs total rooms
- location - if you plan on leaving the resort some are more hassle then others.
- room inclusions (beer, wine, juice, water) so don’t have wine in rooms (again if important)
- room service (it can be extra even at all inclusives)
- Area - Cancun/Mayan have différent sans and beach and the sun sets behind you! pacific doesn’t have as nice a beach but amazing sunset in the water in front of you. Cabo has very few swimmable beaches, tends to be a little cooler at night but guaranteed Blue sky and sun everyday (windy season Jan/feb/mar)
In all honesty, if you have a good travel agents they should be able to advise. If not, find a better one they will all have same price as commission Is paid by supplier.

Choosing the Perfect Mexican Resort for Your December Getaway
With so many incredible all-inclusive resort options in Mexico, narrowing down your choices can be a daunting task. Grand Palladium Vallarta, Baha'i Principe Coba, Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos, Dreams Los Cabos, and Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos are all fantastic options within your price range, but each offers a unique experience. Let's explore the key factors that can help you make the best decision for your December trip.
Location
The first consideration is the location. Do you prefer the vibrant Pacific Coast or the tranquil Caribbean Sea? Grand Palladium Vallarta and Baha'i Principe Coba are situated on the Caribbean side, while Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos, Dreams Los Cabos, and Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos are located on the Pacific Coast in Los Cabos.
Amenities and Activities
Each resort offers an array of amenities and activities to suit different preferences. Grand Palladium Vallarta boasts multiple pools, a water park, and various sports facilities. Baha'i Principe Coba is known for its lush tropical gardens and proximity to historical Mayan ruins. Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos features a stunning beachfront location and a variety of water sports. Dreams Los Cabos and Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos are both family-friendly resorts with kids' clubs, water parks, and ample entertainment options.
Dining Options
When it comes to dining, all-inclusive resorts offer a wide range of culinary experiences. Grand Palladium Vallarta and Baha'i Principe Coba have numerous restaurants serving international cuisines. Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos and Dreams Los Cabos are renowned for their Mexican and seafood specialties. Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos offers upscale dining options, including a tequila bar and a steakhouse.
Booking Directly vs. Using a Travel Agent
While travel agents can provide valuable insights and assistance, booking directly with the resort can sometimes yield better deals. Many resorts offer exclusive promotions, discounts, and packages when booking through their official websites. Additionally, you can often find competitive pricing and package deals on online travel booking platforms.
Ultimately, the choice depends on your personal preferences, travel style, and budget. Take the time to research each resort thoroughly, read reviews, and compare amenities, dining options, and overall value. With careful consideration, you'll find the perfect Mexican resort for an unforgettable December getaway.

Grand Palladium Vallarta, Baha'i Principe Coba, Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos, Dreams Los Cabos, Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos.... How do I choose? They're all in my price range presented by the travel agent, 2 adults, December trip. Or can I get a better deal sans agent?
