How to Score Cheaper Vegas Knights Hockey Tickets?

Question:

Profile picture of Sheri

Sheri

We are going to Vegas in March and I am wondering if anyone could recommend things to see and visit plus quaint restaurants to eat at that don't cost an arm and leg. We are trying to be cost effective. Also, does anyone know of a cheaper way to get hockey tickets to the Vegas Knights besides buying from them directly on their website, they are so expensive! TIA

The Peppermill restaurant
Good prices, big portions, lots of fun and kinda stuck in a 70’s time warp. Servers were all wearing old prom dresses!

And when we say 'big portions' - this means order only 1 item per 2 people... you will not go hungry!!

Can’t recommend those but book your your idnow pcr test at Walgreens using an American address and you won’t have to pay and get the results back in a few hours - mine was an hour

what is idnow pcr?

Profile picture of Yvonne

Yvonne

Sheri Herman rapid pcr test. You need a pcr to get back into Canada. CVS offers a pcr test but much slower results than the idnow test at Walgreens. Heads up this is not offered in all states, but we had our does at a drive thru in Vegas on our drive back to Calgary. As far as I know still not available in CA.

Absinthe is a must for a show. Just saw it there 2 weeks ago and it was amazing. You need to have a crude sense of humour though. But the talent was just incredible.

Michael Grimm (winner of America’s Got Talent about 10 years ago) at the Smith Center - it’s a wonderful venue to hear him sing.

Check out the Instagram page @lasvegasfood There’s also the Vegas Arts District that puts on a lot of events and is a cool area away from the strip to walk around.
I also recommend getting a bus pass. You end up waiting for the bus a bit but it allows you to hop on and off when and wherever you want. It paid for itself very quickly.

Vegas on a Budget: Sights, Bites, and Affordable Golden Knights Tickets

Las Vegas is known for its extravagance, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the city without breaking the bank. Here are some tips for making the most of your Vegas trip while keeping costs down.

Free and Affordable Attractions

  • Fremont Street Experience: Stroll down this iconic pedestrian mall and take in the mesmerizing light shows and street performers.
  • Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens: Admire the stunning floral displays that change seasonally – all for free!
  • Mirage Volcano: Catch the erupting volcano show every hour on the hour (and it's free!).
  • Neon Museum: Explore the boneyard of vintage Vegas neon signs for a unique glimpse into the city's history (tickets start at $16).

Budget-Friendly Dining

  • Nacho Daddy: Indulge in creative and affordable nacho creations at this local favorite.
  • Earl of Sandwich: This unassuming spot serves up delicious sandwiches and salads at wallet-friendly prices.
  • Secret Pizza: Hidden inside The Cosmopolitan, this pizzeria offers tasty slices for under $5.
  • Lotus of Siam: Savor authentic Thai cuisine at this highly acclaimed and budget-friendly restaurant.

Scoring Affordable Golden Knights Tickets

While buying tickets directly from the Vegas Golden Knights can be pricey, there are ways to score more affordable seats:

  • Ticket Resellers: Check sites like StubHub, Vivid Seats, or SeatGeek for discounted tickets from resellers.
  • Ticket Brokers: Local ticket brokers may offer better deals, especially for last-minute or weekday games.
  • Golden Knights Ticket Exchange: The team's official resale platform allows fans to buy and sell verified tickets.
  • Student/Military Discounts: Keep an eye out for special discounts if you're a student or active military member.

With a little creativity and savvy planning, you can experience the best of Vegas without breaking the bank. Enjoy your trip!
