Avoid doing an all inclusive. Rent an airbnb. This way you choose your food options and you always get more culture. Way better than an all inclusive

If you actually need to avoid all gluten I agree with above rent your own place. You can’t be sure others haven’t contaminated non gluten with gluten and you can’t guarantee no gluten in buffets or restaurants

We are doing Sandos playacar in a month. If you are looking for a gluten free all inclusive resort I would suggest contacting a Reputable travel agent. Or just getting a hotel and eating out. We did it last year and had a blast

Any of the Now/Secrets/Breathless they are all owned and operated by the same owner. Just visit the concierge they will give you a gluten free allergy card. I've had really good experiences, the food is really fresh at the buffet. I've been celiac for 17+ years. The restaurants bring out GF bread or use gluten free soya sauce depending on the resort, just ask! Or they will have options on the menus that say GF. But like anywhere you just have to use your judgement. I would avoid any thick sauces and usually the staff can tell you if something is corn or flour based (tortilla). I've never had a problem finding something to eat.

Barcelo Maya palace and the grand Sirenia are both beautiful and the food is amazing at the palace! We just came back from there.

I have been lucky .We travel now for 5 years to Mexico and I got a card from the celiac society that explains in Spanish what I have and every night I show the head chefs and then they will let me know what I can have off the buffet. Because there r so many different types of Spanish it good to go to the concierges desk and they can do a letter up and that is what u can show ever night that will help .
