I was just in Split for a few days and it was great! We did the ferry to Hvar for the day which was wonderful. There’s a tourism office when you get off the ferry that can tell you what to do while you’re there (hike up to the castle, eat, drink, or beach essentially). In Split, take some time to explore the open air market next to old town, and have dinner or drinks within the walls of old town!! We loved this tiny restaurant called Villa Spiza. If you’re feeling active, you can bike ride all around Marjan Park and stop at some cool beaches along the way. If you want to go to Plitvice or Krka I’d definitely recommend renting a car. It’ll be much cheaper than going on a tour bus and then you can go on your own schedule. Have fun!!!

Thanks Harj!
I'll have to try that location. I went to the Langley one yesterday and not one of the 6 agents knew anything about Croatia. None of them have booked Croatia and I had to actually ask for books because no one could help me! Pffftt
Angela
Trogir right next door, preferably by water taxi.

Can anyone recommend a travel agent that specializes in Croatia? I've booked the cruise, but want to know what the must see things are near Split. And also, where to stay.
