Are you on the Carnival friends page and have you looked up your sailing date on fb? You can get a lot of great info from both of those pages. Also, don’t be afraid to book excursions that are not through Carnival. We just got back from a Southern Caribbean cruise on Carnival and only booked 1 of our 5 excursions through the ship. I did a lot of research and saved a lot of money.

Going on a Carnival Cruise to the Caribbean
Are you getting ready for an exciting 8-night Carnival Cruise to the Caribbean out of the New Orleans port? Traveling with seniors and teens can be a wonderful experience, but it also comes with its own set of challenges. Whether you're a first-timer or have been cruising before but not to these destinations, here are some helpful tips and advice to make the most of your trip:
Tips for Traveling with Seniors:
- Make sure to pack any necessary medications and bring along a copy of their prescriptions.
- Consider booking shore excursions that are less physically demanding, such as sightseeing tours or cultural experiences.
- Check with the cruise line to see if they offer any special accommodations for seniors, such as wheelchair access or priority boarding.
Tips for Traveling with Teens:
- Encourage your teens to participate in the cruise ship's onboard activities, such as teen clubs, sports tournaments, and movie nights.
- Set boundaries and guidelines for their behavior while onboard to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
- Consider booking shore excursions that cater to their interests, such as water sports, zip-lining, or shopping excursions.
General Tips for Everyone:
- Make sure to pack sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses for the sunny Caribbean weather.
- Bring motion sickness medication just in case, especially if anyone in your group is prone to seasickness.
- Take advantage of the onboard entertainment and dining options, but also make time to relax and enjoy the beautiful views from the ship.
Have a fantastic time on your Carnival Cruise to the Caribbean!
