Question:

We are travelling to England, France and Austria. Any suggestions about how which sim card/phone plan to use with our unlocked phones which would allow us to use in all three countries?

We used 3 when we were recently there - it was good in England and France and the Feel at Home option allows Austria as well. http://www.three.co.uk/Discover/Phones/Feel_At_Home

SIM Card and Phone Plan for Travel in England, France, and Austria

If you're planning a trip to England, France, and Austria, you'll need to make sure you have a way to stay connected. One option is to purchase a local SIM card for each country. However, this can be expensive and inconvenient, especially if you're only staying for a short period of time.

A better option is to purchase an international SIM card. These cards are designed to work in multiple countries, and they can save you a lot of money. There are a number of different international SIM cards available, so it's important to do some research to find the one that's right for you.

Here are a few things to consider when choosing an international SIM card:

  • Coverage: Make sure the SIM card you choose has coverage in all of the countries you'll be visiting.
  • Data allowance: Choose a data allowance that meets your needs. If you plan on using a lot of data, you'll need to choose a card with a higher data allowance.
  • Price: Compare the prices of different SIM cards to find the best deal.

Once you've chosen an international SIM card, you'll need to activate it. This can usually be done online or by calling the customer service number. Once your SIM card is activated, you'll be able to use it to make calls, send texts, and access the internet.

Here are a few tips for using an international SIM card:

  • Make sure your phone is unlocked. This means that it's not locked to a specific carrier.
  • Insert the SIM card into your phone.
  • Turn on your phone.
  • Select the network operator. This should be the name of the carrier that issued the SIM card.
  • You should now be able to use your phone to make calls, send texts, and access the internet.

Using an international SIM card is a great way to stay connected while traveling abroad. By following these tips, you can make sure you have a hassle-free experience.
