Placencia (Los porticos) is the best. Best beaches in the country. We also enjoyed a few days in Hopkins.

Belize Adventure

Introduction

Belize is a Central American paradise that offers a unique blend of Caribbean and Mayan cultures, stunning natural beauty, and incredible adventures. With its pristine beaches, lush jungles, ancient ruins, and vibrant marine life, Belize is a dream destination for travelers seeking a mix of relaxation and adventure. In this blog post, we'll explore a perfect 2-week itinerary that will allow you to experience the best of Belize.

Week 1: Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker

Start your journey in the beautiful island of Ambergris Caye, the largest of Belize's cayes. Here, you can stay at one of the many beachfront resorts or boutique hotels, such as Victoria House Resort & Spa or Matachica Resort & Spa.

Spend your days exploring the island's vibrant beach towns, snorkeling or diving in the world-famous Hol Chan Marine Reserve, and taking a day trip to the stunning Bacalar Chico National Park and Marine Reserve. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Belize Barrier Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the best places for scuba diving and snorkeling.

After a few days on Ambergris Caye, take a short boat ride to the laid-back island of Caye Caulker. This charming island is known for its "go slow" vibe, making it the perfect place to unwind and soak up the Caribbean atmosphere. Stay at one of the cozy beach cabanas or small hotels, such as Ramona's Calico or The Caye Reef Cabanas.

While on Caye Caulker, explore the island on foot or by golf cart, snorkel or kayak in the clear waters, and enjoy the vibrant nightlife and live music scene. Don't miss the chance to visit the famous "split" – a narrow channel that separates the island into two parts.
