The best part of Hawaii is that all beaches are public. So all the beaches in front of hotels are available to you. Great snorkeling at Turtle Bay resort and in Ko'olina lagoons. Both on Oahu

We are headed back to Ko'Olina this weekend. Aulani resort is amazing, this will be our 2nd time going. if you book a few months ahead, you are likely to catch a promo. We are getting return shuttle, car rental, resort credit and 1 meal a day at their quick service.

Maui is the best for small kids & families. Kihei area. Been there lots with & without kids. Sure there's retirees but thats the same everywhere. Whichever island or area you choose though, budget for a rental car. You will need it!!

Ko'olina on Oahu is also very nice for kids beachwise but it's a very expensive area.

Car rentals are the best for Hawaii. Weekly and weekends only they have luxury Lincoln for $23 a day

Car rental included in package or separated rental in destination do you recommend? Other than time saving.

Profile picture of Malcolm

Malcolm

Celia separate also ur car insurance may cover ur rental. If not then ask for it since they typically charge only $10 per day unless ur credit card gold or platinum covers rental agreements

Which month in between Jan and April is good to go?

Profile picture of Cheryl

Cheryl

There are always big seat sales for April but you'll have to wait until prob feb or mar to book those. Avoid match if possible. It's very expensive b/c of all the spring break times.
