Just booked a cruise with "Sail Croatia" for next June. We have about 4 days before and after the cruise. Any suggestions of where we should stay? Things we must see? We're open to all ideas. The cruise leaves out of Split.

Plitvice Lakes via bus from Split. Stay overnight in the park to catch early morning and evening peace.

I did Sail Croatia back in 2015... so much fun! Is your tour one way (Split-Dubrovnik) or round trip (Split-Split)? I would definitely recommend spending more time in Dubrovnik after the tour (and try doing a day trip down into Montenegro to visit Kotor, which Sail Croatia normally offers as an add-on if it’s a one way trip). Don’t miss the waterfalls, either Krka or Plitvice. Trogir is a short bus or water taxi ride away from Split and totally worth at least a quick visit. Zadar up the coast is my favourite (and home to the “sea organ” I’m sure you’ve seen posted on Facebook at one point or another). Zagreb was good as well, but might not be feasible depending on your timeline.
Also, lemme know if you have any questions about the ports or activities as I did almost all of them since I was “working” for them taking photos; water rafting and zipping in Omis/Markaska, wine tasting on Hvar/Stari Grad, dune buggies on Korcula are all super fun. And then do a pirate night in Markaska normally so you might want to pack someone that you can wear to that and then just pick up a cheap hat or something at one of the markets while there.

Wow, there's a lot for me to google in there!! Ours is Split return. I wanted Split to Dubrovnik, but it was sold out. The original dates we wanted was also sold out. So, we had to choose from what was left.

Which water falls can you swim in?

I’m not sure. I didn’t make it to the falls (was supposed to after the fact, but the tour I was on after the fact got rerouted). Krka is the one that’s closer to Split was Plitvice is the “famous” one but is more out of the way/North.

Starigrad had their 2400 Birthday last year
Spent a week there
Could have stayed much longer

Dubrovnik is magical! Try to find the bar on the outside of the wall (it’s a little hole in the wall where they send down beers in a bucket)
Hvar is great too!!! Take the time to walk up to the WatchTower. It’s a nice walk and the view from up top is your reward.
Split is beautiful, we loved walking along the marina, near the end of the walkway is a cute seafood restaurant with amazing prices and cold beer
