Not sure if they can quite meet those requirements, but Hotel Zed in Kelowna or Victoria are great family friendly (and budget friendly) hotels. We love to stay there! https://www.hotelzed.com/

I’m sure Whistler has some cheap deals - especially through vrbo or airbnb! Hope you find somewhere for you all to relax.
April
Harrison Hot Springs
(I think you can bring kids to the resort!?! Lol not sure on that)
Amanda
April you can and the outdoor hot tubs are amazing
Paula
April I second this! The 4pm cookies and tea, floating in the hot tub, walk by the lake....all wonderful reconnecting opportunities.
Misty
Paula the tea isn’t being done due to covid and I heard the chlorine in the pools was too high? Interested If anyone has been recently
Tara
Misty went last month - seemed fine
Erin
Misty A friend of mine was there in the summer and she said they were zapping the hot tubs with chlorine between bookings to disinfect them.
Ann
Check the times that Harrison Hot Springs allows kids in the pool. I haven’t been for some time, but recall being
disappointed with restrictions.
Jennifer
kids are allowed in the pool until 10pm. One lap pool and one warm pool. There is an adult only pool that is off limits at all time. No tea and cookies right now due to Covid but definitely family friendly.
Dave
Fairmont in Whistler. Fantastic outdoor pool, but they are requiring pool reservations due to covid.
Edel
Dave I second this
Mary
Dave this as well and the Portobello restaurant has yummy pastries and sandwiches
Bryn
Hilltop Inn in Salmon Arm
Chris
Quality Inn in Abbotsford is next door to Castle Fun Park.

Sorry to hear that, Melissa. I stayed downtown at the Fairmont Vancouver with my daughter as a staycation. Pool is inside (needs a bit of touch up) but it was super quiet and reservations not required. We had movies we could cast to the TV and it’s close to a ton of fun things to do. There are a lot of hotels offering Visa cards to help with costs. Lots of hotels downtown have cheap deals to bring in business.

We stayed at the pan pacific a couple of weeks ago. Nice pool with a nice hot-tube and harbor view. You could also walk to Robson street and treat yourself to a back massage and reflexology at toe to soul. If you want to splurge the fairmont pacific rim is lovely. And they have a bmw car service that will take you anywhere for free.
Hayley
We stayed at the Richmond signature sandman. They have indoor pool with waterslide and outdoor pool. And dennys is in the parking lot. If weather is good terra nova park is great and the west dyke trail or steveston. My kids loved it and constantly ask to go back there.

Outdoor pool? Otherwise I’d say Pinnacle in North Van or Bayshore in Vancouver. Both have indoor pools but great deals. Bayshore near Stanley Park which is a plus.
Anne
Sutton place hotel has a buy a night get a night deal.
Sandman in Squamish is very nice with a great pool.
We were recently in whistler & I thought the village was crazy in the evening. So many people, out drinking in public, too much a party vibe.
Our room was lovely at the Westin though

I need a super kid friendly mini break for tomorrow night. Anywhere within 2 hours of Vancouver. Amazing heated outdoor pool, that it isn't too late to sign up for, and in room movies is a must! Kiddo has been in and out of the hospital all week (not covid or anything like that) and we all need a last minute fun break.
