Spend the day in Split and take a ferry to Hvar.
There is so much to see. 4 days is not a lot of time.
Cat
Do a night or two on one of the islands - I stayed on Korcula and had a really nice time - just as pretty as Hvar, but quieter.
Dyan
Cat, can you recommend a place in Korcula? Heading there is September. Torn between spending 4 days in Korcula or splitting with Havr? Your thoughts? We are 12 days in Croatia.

Andy Chu, can you let us know how it went?

Where to Stay in Croatia After Zadar
You're flying into Zadar, Croatia next week for 4 nights. You currently have your first 2 nights booked in Zadar (Boutique Hostel Forum) itself with plans to visit a nearby national park (Plitvice or Kornati). You're interested in staying 2 nights in either Split or Sibenik for Krka National Park. Here are some recommendations on where to spend the remainder of your visit in Croatia:
Split
Split is a beautiful city on the Dalmatian Coast. It's known for its stunning architecture, lively nightlife, and delicious food. There are plenty of things to see and do in Split, including:

- Take a walk along the Riva, Split's picturesque waterfront promenade
- Visit the Marjan Forest Park, a beautiful park with stunning views of the city
- Enjoy the nightlife in Split, which is known for its many bars and clubs
Split is a great base for exploring the surrounding area. It's a short drive to Krka National Park, which is home to stunning waterfalls and lakes. You can also take a ferry to the island of Hvar, which is known for its beautiful beaches and vineyards.
Sibenik
Sibenik is a smaller city than Split, but it's just as beautiful. It's known for its stunning cathedral, its medieval old town, and its beautiful waterfalls. There are plenty of things to see and do in Sibenik, including:
- Visit the Sibenik Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Take a walk through the medieval old town
- Visit the Krka National Park, which is just a short drive from Sibenik
- Enjoy the nightlife in Sibenik, which is more relaxed than Split's
Sibenik is a great base for exploring the surrounding area. It's a short drive to Krka National Park, which is home to stunning waterfalls and lakes. You can also take a ferry to the island of Kornati, which is known for its beautiful beaches and coves.
Which city should you choose?
Ultimately, the decision of whether to stay in Split or Sibenik depends on your interests. If you're looking for a city with a lively nightlife and plenty of things to see and do, then Split is a great choice. If you're looking for a smaller city with a more relaxed atmosphere and stunning natural beauty, then Sibenik is a great choice.
No matter which city you choose, you're sure to have a great time in Croatia!
