And I second getting a pocket wifi of some kind. Free Wifi is not as good there and not so reliable in some area. If you look online you can get a pretty good deal. Around $130cad for 21 days of pocket wifi. Then just turn of your cellular data for the duration

Any thought on travel to Japan? My daughter and I would like to go next year, using Japan rail. Going for 3 weeks, our travel agent says we should build our our itinerary but I don't know where to start...any good sites that will with this? Keeping in mind we would have to figure it all out: rail times and hotel bookings etc...
