Question:

We are planning a trip to Disneyland in Jan 2017 and we want to stay at the Paradise Pier Hotel. Is it better to book directly to disneyland website for the package including airfare, or travel agent or book separately. Thank you. I've been reading mousesaver too.

i prefer Orlando Florida and better amusement parks and a lot cheaper for food and shopping. weather and athmosphere is the best. Seat sales from YVR to MCO can b as cheap as $290Cdn return on United or delta. westjet now flies wednesday and Saturday direct from Vancouver. i prefere delta and Alaska as they have wifi on all their flights gogo inflight you can book all your amusement park tickets on Costco.ca and pay online in Cdn dollars

we leave for disneyland next week and we are staying at the Disney Grand Californian. Booked directly with the website but costcotravel.ca or .com have some deals if you want to do any of the character dinning or want the california pass. We are flying out of Seattle since it saved me $600 for a family of five. I used airmiles points for two adult passes. flight centre usually have deals but i have gift cards etc to use. But I agree with
Malcolm, Disneyworld is by far better (been there 3times) but waiting for my kids to be a little older/taller to enjoy that attraction....then maybe hit another disneycruise...I'm a disney freak!!

keep in mind,, you can rent a gorgeous 3 bedroom house double garage with everything inside except groceries including a heated pool in Kissimmee Florida where all the attractions are found south of Orlando for $100 day, 7 day minimum

Booking Disneyland Vacation: Direct, Travel Agent or Book Separately?

Planning a trip to Disneyland is an exciting endeavor, and one of the key decisions is how to book your accommodations and travel. If you're considering staying at the Paradise Pier Hotel for your January 2017 visit, you have a few options: booking directly through the Disneyland website, using a travel agent, or booking everything separately.

Booking Directly with Disneyland

Booking directly through the Disneyland website can be a convenient option, especially if you opt for a package that includes airfare. The main advantage of this approach is that you can bundle everything together, including your hotel stay, park tickets, and transportation. Disney often offers special package deals and promotions, which can potentially save you money.

Additionally, booking directly with Disneyland ensures that you're dealing with the official source, eliminating any potential confusion or miscommunication that could arise when dealing with third parties.

Using a Travel Agent

Working with a travel agent, especially one that specializes in Disney vacations, can be beneficial in certain situations. Travel agents have insider knowledge and access to exclusive deals and discounts that might not be available to the general public. They can also help you navigate the complex booking process and ensure that all the details of your trip are taken care of.

However, it's important to note that using a travel agent may come with additional fees or commissions, which could offset any potential savings you might gain from their exclusive deals.

Booking Separately

Booking your accommodations, airfare, and park tickets separately can be a more time-consuming process, but it also gives you the flexibility to shop around and potentially find better deals. You can compare prices across various travel websites, airlines, and third-party booking sites to find the best combination of options that fit your budget and preferences.

One potential downside of this approach is that you'll need to juggle multiple reservations and keep track of various booking details, which could be more challenging than bundling everything together through a single source.

Conclusion

Ultimately, the best option for booking your Disneyland vacation will depend on your specific needs, budget, and personal preferences. If convenience and bundling everything together is a priority, booking directly with Disneyland or using a trusted travel agent might be the way to go. However, if you're willing to put in the extra effort and have the flexibility to shop around, booking separately could potentially save you money.

Regardless of your chosen approach, be sure to read the fine print, compare prices, and take advantage of any available discounts or promotions. And don't forget to check out resources like MouseSavers for valuable tips and strategies to maximize your Disneyland experience.
