Drive along Kootenay lake just north of Creston. Great scenery. Then the ferry across and up to Ainsworth Hot springs.

You can go through Jasper, McBride, Quesnel. You'll see great scenery, take in some hiking to viewpoints that feels like you're on top of the world and stop at Barkerville.

We are going to Yoho NP for the first time this summer... Emerald Lake, Takakkaw Falls and other must sees in the area.

Take a drive through the Kootenays. Cross Arrow Lake on the Ferry just outside of Revelstoke. If you are camping, you can stay at Summit Lake, or continue on through the small towns of New Denver and Kaslo. Just outside of New Denver is a ghost town with a museum - look for signs to Sandon. Spend a day in Kaslo, it's a beautiful old town right on Kootenay Lake.

When Ry and I took our motorcycles it was incredible... our route went through Blairmore following that Hwy south Gorgeous! Then we followed it up to Nelson... super gorgeous!! Took ferry yes and then headed to Osoyoos then carried on that way to Vancouver over to Parksville stayed by the water then up to Tofino make sure you stop to see the red woods on the way
Tofino is gorgeous!! My friend Sarah McLachlan lives there so you may see her
when we came home we took ferry to Horseshoe Bay instead and headed to Whistler then back the scenery is incredible so many waterfalls in Wells Gray Park... some ideas

If you are going somewhat north hit up Tumbler Ridge. The waterfalls in that town are never ending. The hikes are breath taking

Best hot springs ever!! Halcyon Hot Springs! In the "hot spring loop" close to Nakusp, BC beautiful waterfalls between Halcyon and Nakusp! Must see!!

If u are heading north check out tumbler ridge and further north on the Alaska highway there is the laird hot springs ! Beautiful drive !
