La Pepita was one of our favourite meals in Barcelona this past May! Really great tapas.
Francine
Katie so funny I was going to suggest the same place. The tapas and pitcher of mojito were delicious. You just might need to wait for a table
Katie
Francine Hilarious! We also got a mojito pitcher while we were there. If you're unable to make a reservation, we had luck walking up earlier in the day and asking for one. We got one at 7 in their tiniest table but it was worth it!

https://www.elnacionalbcn.com it is the old newspaper site and has 4 restaurants in it. Worth the price. I will say we are out every day for 7 days and did not have one bad meal.

Eat in the market on La Rambla for one of your meals. It’s interesting to wander and munch. We thoroughly enjoyed renting ebikes and going along the waterfront. Hop on hop off bus takes you to all the major sites. ENJOY!!! Great city!!
Susan
Stacey Bouqueria market on Las Ramblas has loads of eating opportunities.
Ingrid
Stacey We had fish and chips in the very back of that market, and they were served so beautifully in large sticks, built as a tower. Yummy!
Stacey
Ingrid oooooh that sounds delicious!! I like anything on a stick lol

Bar Lobo was amazing (the fried egg plant omg) and Teresa Carles, which is vegetarian but none of us missed the meat that night!

Can’t remember places we ate but Pick pockets are all over the place in Barcelona. On our cruise from there we meet a few people that had been ripped off in Barcelona,
The cruises from there are awesome.
Rose
Thanks again for the info. Really appreciate it.
