Italy is the place to explore with family!! Stay at some cute private rentals and move around a bit. For coastal areas we loved both Positano and Framura (Cinque Terre) but honestly don’t go all that way and miss the most amazing parts such as Tuscany, or the history of Florence and Rome.

Don’t know of all inclusive in Italy. It really is not a Europe kind of thing.

Ischia and Sardenia are beautiful islands and ditto what others are saying about all inclusives...not European. OAN Portuguese beaches are spectacular and less costly than Italy.

Katharin loved Ischia we stayed there for a week years ago! Cute European bed and breakfast places and walkable!

All inclusive are rare there and if you find one expensive. I would look for place that offers breakfast with your stay and then head out to "beach club". All the acces to great beach, showers, restaurant, maybe even kids activities at one place

We used hotel in Ladisopoli with breakfast and dinners. Around 200cad per day couple years ago. The dinner started very late at 8pm. It was a 3 course meal. For lunches we used grocery nearby and local market with fruits. Not all inclusive, but close

Family Trip to Italy: Exploring the Possibilities of All-Inclusive Beach Vacations
Italy, a country renowned for its rich history, vibrant culture, and culinary delights, may not be the first destination that comes to mind when planning an all-inclusive beach vacation. However, with its picturesque coastlines along the Mediterranean Sea and the Adriatic Sea, Italy offers an array of options for families seeking sun, sand, and relaxation.
The Allure of All-Inclusive Resorts
All-inclusive resorts provide a hassle-free vacation experience, where you can enjoy a wide range of amenities and activities without worrying about additional costs. These resorts typically offer accommodation, meals, beverages, and various entertainment options, all bundled into one package. For families, this setup can be particularly appealing, as it eliminates the need for constant budgeting and allows everyone to indulge in a carefree getaway.
Italian Beach Destinations for All-Inclusive Vacations
While Italy may not be as renowned for its all-inclusive resorts as some Caribbean or Mexican destinations, there are still several regions that offer this type of vacation experience. Here are a few options to consider:
1. Sardinia
The island of Sardinia, located in the Mediterranean Sea, is a popular destination for beach vacations. Several all-inclusive resorts can be found along its stunning coastline, offering pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and a wide range of water sports and activities. The resorts often feature multiple dining options, kids' clubs, and entertainment programs, making them ideal for families.
2. Sicily
Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean, boasts numerous picturesque beaches and a handful of all-inclusive resorts. From the sandy shores of the Ionian Sea to the rugged coastline of the Mediterranean, families can find a beach that suits their preferences. Some resorts even offer cultural excursions, allowing you to explore the island's rich history and traditions.
3. Calabria
Calabria, located in the "toe" of Italy's boot, is a lesser-known but stunning destination for beach vacations. Its Tyrrhenian and Ionian coasts offer several all-inclusive resorts, many of which cater specifically to families. With clear waters, sandy beaches, and a laid-back atmosphere, Calabria provides a tranquil setting for a relaxing beach getaway.
Tips for Planning an All-Inclusive Family Trip to Italy
If you're considering an all-inclusive family trip to Italy, here are a few tips to help you plan your dream vacation:
- Research and compare different resorts to find the one that best suits your family's needs and preferences.
- Book well in advance, especially during peak seasons, to secure the best rates and availability.
- Consider the resort's proximity to local attractions and cultural sites if you plan to explore beyond the beach.
- Inquire about the resort's child-friendly amenities, such as kids' clubs, family-oriented activities, and child-care services.
- Don't forget to pack appropriate beach gear, including swimsuits, sunscreen, and beach towels.
While Italy may not be the typical destination for an all-inclusive beach vacation, it offers a unique blend of stunning coastlines, rich culture, and family-friendly resorts. With careful planning and an open mind, you can create unforgettable memories with your loved ones while enjoying the best of Italian hospitality.

Looking to do a family trip to Italy. Anyone have any suggestions if all-inclusive is possible? We typically hang out on the beach and swim in the ocean the all day.
Thanks
