Paradise Village has many options- all inclusive being one of them. That’s what we did but the units have full kitchens too so you could just do some meals

We actually went for 2 wks, in August, couple yrs back ( Mayan Riviera) and, surprisingly it was great!
I was worried because of I have asthma and hubby has COPD, but needed not being concerned at all!
I would do it again, in a heart beat!?

Summer in Vancouver is when Vancouverites want to stay and not travel. So, better not follow the crowd, pack up and go. Take this good deal because Puerto Vallarta has nice weather anytime.

The Friendly Vallarta. THE NICEST staff you will ever meet! Just check out their reviews on FB. 5-MIN drive from the Airport, close to the Malecon where all the shops and restaurants are, and great food! It is also right on the beach, all inclusive. They have beach fiestas, nightly shows, and lots of daily entertainment. I go back for the people tho; hands down the best staff in Vallarta. Going back in April! Also, I highly suggest The River Cafe in town for a meal.

Tracy. Are you more interested in staying at the resort most of the time or will you be OFF the resort much of the time? Great beaches important or are you pool people? Young children or older children? So many good ones to choose from but without more information on what exactly you are looking for, it's hard to give you an honest referral.

Lindsay right?!? My kids LOVED that they could just swim right outside, see the ocean and order drinks from the pool! We didn’t take them into the swim up bar pool...I figured that was just for adults! Only because we felt it was a parents sanctuary!

Puerto Vallarta: The Favorite Family Resort

Puerto Vallarta, a picturesque coastal town on the Pacific coast of Mexico, has become a beloved destination for families seeking sun, sand, and unforgettable experiences. With its stunning beaches, vibrant culture, and abundant family-friendly activities, Puerto Vallarta has earned a reputation as one of the top family resorts in the world.

Pristine Beaches and Water Adventures

Puerto Vallarta's beaches are among the most beautiful in Mexico, with golden sands and crystal-clear waters that invite families to swim, snorkel, and bask in the warm sunshine. The iconic Playa Los Muertos (Beach of the Dead) is a lively spot where families can rent beach chairs, umbrellas, and enjoy a variety of water sports, such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and banana boat rides.

Insider Tip:

Visit the Marietas Islands, a UNESCO-protected nature reserve, for incredible snorkeling and diving opportunities. These uninhabited islands offer breathtaking underwater landscapes and diverse marine life.

Cultural Immersion and Family-Friendly Activities

Beyond the beaches, Puerto Vallarta offers a rich cultural experience for families. The malecón (boardwalk) is a vibrant hub of street performers, artisans, and outdoor restaurants, providing a taste of authentic Mexican culture. The iconic Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, with its iconic crown, is a must-visit landmark.

For families seeking adventure, Puerto Vallarta offers a plethora of activities, including zip-lining through lush jungles, swimming with dolphins, and exploring nearby villages like Sayulita, known for its laid-back surf vibe.

Family-Friendly Resorts and Accommodations

Puerto Vallarta is home to numerous family-friendly resorts that cater to the needs of travelers with children. From all-inclusive resorts with kid's clubs, water parks, and supervised activities, to boutique hotels with family suites and kid-friendly amenities, there is something to suit every family's preferences and budget.

Pro Tip:

Consider staying in the Zona Romántica (Romantic Zone), a charming neighborhood with cobblestone streets, art galleries, and a vibrant dining scene, while still being close to the beach and other family-friendly attractions.

Whether you're seeking relaxation, adventure, or cultural enrichment, Puerto Vallarta offers an unforgettable family vacation experience. With its stunning natural beauty, welcoming locals, and diverse range of activities, this Mexican paradise has rightfully earned its reputation as a favorite family resort destination.
