Whistler might be a good option. Even though we live only a few hours away, always a good time there.
Danielle
We go to whistler often so we were looking for somewhere different.

Go for an overnighter at the Westin Bayshore and spend your days along the seawall and Stanley Park.

Thank you for the recommendations. It didn't have to be locally in Vancouver. But I'll keep searching. Thank you

Try the other side of the province! It's a drive but you will see many sites along the way. We live in the Columbia Valley and it's fantastic here. Look up www.timbersresort.com for an affordable cabin style getaway close to all of the amenities that Fairmont Hot Springs has to offer.

I've done a BC ferries vacation package to Victoria and thought it was great value. Or Tofino is always a great time. If you don't have the time to drive then salt spring or galiano or sechelt are gorgeous.

Cheap and Fun Girls Weekend Getaway Ideas
Looking for an affordable and exciting weekend getaway with your girlfriends? We've got you covered! Here are some great ideas that won't break the bank but will definitely create lasting memories:
-
Beach or Lake Retreat
Rent a cozy cabin or Airbnb near a beach or lake for a relaxing and rejuvenating escape. Pack your swimsuits, sunscreen, and snacks, and enjoy the sun, sand, and water activities like swimming, kayaking, or paddleboarding.
-
Camping Adventure
Pitch a tent in a nearby state park or campground for a budget-friendly outdoor adventure. Roast marshmallows over the campfire, go hiking, and bask in the beauty of nature. Don't forget to pack your favorite camping games and snacks!
-
City Exploration
Visit a nearby city you've never been to before and explore its hidden gems. Check out quirky museums, local eateries, street art, and unique neighborhoods. Split the cost of a budget hotel or Airbnb to keep expenses low.
-
Wine Tasting Tour
Many vineyards offer affordable wine tasting packages or tours. Plan a day trip or a weekend getaway to a nearby wine region, and sample delicious wines while enjoying the picturesque surroundings with your friends.
-
Spa Day at Home
If you prefer a staycation, turn your home into a relaxing spa retreat. Set up a DIY facial station, give each other massages, and indulge in homemade face masks and pampering treatments. Don't forget to prepare some healthy snacks and refreshing drinks!
No matter which option you choose, the most important thing is spending quality time with your girlfriends, creating unforgettable memories, and having a blast without breaking the bank.
