We stayed at the Novotel Darling Harbour. It’s not close to the Passenger terminal, but it’s a great clean, well priced hotel in a very walkable area with lots of great restaurants close by.

We stayed at the pan Pacific Park Royal in spring 2020 and it was cheap by USA and Canada standards. 20 minutes from the cruise port near the opera house.

Transit pass and you’re good to go on trains, boats, busses etc. all the way to the Blue Mtns one day. Harbour boats another day.

Check out hotels at The Rocks. It is near the cruise ship terminal. We did a harbour cruise and the hop on hop off bud. Enjoy!

There are two cruise terminals. One in the main harbor and one at White Bay in Rozelle which is a 20 min drive from the city. There really isn’t anything at White Bay so best to stay at or near Darling Harbour. We got off a cruise at Whites Bay in March.
