Mexico is a huge country with a lot of different areas. It all depends on what you are looking for. There are coastal beach towns, pueblos mágicos, cities, tourist beach resort towns. Keep in mind, September/October is the end of hurricane/rainy season in a lot of the coastal cities.

Looking into Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos. From what I’ve heard, it may rain daily but only for a very short period of time.

Angela my daughter just came back from Cabo and said the humidity was pretty extreme.

Monica I think I’m okay with that. I went to Nashville recently and the humidity was like nothing I’ve ever experienced!

Angela For the most part yes but there are chances of storms and the humidity is very high because of the consistent daily/nightly rain

Angela we did pv in October once, Oct 21-27 and it was fantastic. The next year, based on my recommendation our friend stayed in the same hotel same time frame and their was a hurricane and they had to be evacuated and stay in a school gym. I have since been hesitant about October as it is “stormy season”

If you push the date to late Oct you will likely be safe from rain on the Oaxaca coast (puerto escondido/Huatulco)

Los Cabo’s area without a doubt over PV…white sandy beaches everywhere. My opinion of course. I’ve been to both places. Los Cabo’s is quaint & safer.
