HK Disneyland is so small, 1 day would be enough.

Thank you for the response. Any other suggestions for activities that we can do as a family aside from HK Disney? We plan to stay for 3 days.

Leah I think u may want to go to the Victoria Peak and ride the peak tram. And also check out traditional places like Wong Tai Sin Temple. For children, they may also like Ocean Park too, and if u go to Ocean Park, u can plan a dinner at Aberdeen for their famous seafood

Lots to do in Hong Kong. You may want to visit Victoria Peak. Can't go to HK without shopping Ladies Market. There is a train from airport straight to city Centre, the ride is approximately 45min. Very easy to access around the city using MTR (train).

There's SO much to do in HK!! Get the Hong Kong City Pass, and use it for Ngong Ping 360. That's easily a full day, and the HK Pass lets you skip the (very long) line. It also gets you entry to the Victoria Peak tram, and on the Big Bus tours. It's really great value if you plan it right.

Hi! Thank you all for the suggestions. We have booked the tickets. I've also booked the accommodations in Tin Shui Wai but I am having second thoughts as it seems far from the Centre / tourist attractions. Newbie traveller here
Should we cancel or is it do-able to commute? If I cancel I might not get any refund back. Where have you guys stayed during your HK visit?

HK has very great transportation network. I bet ur place is close to West Rail Station? If so, that's totally fine.

Traveling to Hong Kong with Kids
Traveling with children can be both exciting and challenging, especially when visiting a bustling city like Hong Kong. If you're planning a trip with your 6 and 4-year-old kids at the end of March for 3 days, you're in for a fun-filled adventure!
Disneyland Hong Kong
One of the must-visit attractions for families with kids in Hong Kong is Disneyland. If you're wondering whether 1 full day is enough to explore the park, the answer is yes! Disneyland Hong Kong is compact and manageable, so you can easily cover all the rides and attractions in a day. Just make sure to prioritize the rides and shows that your kids will enjoy the most.
Family-Friendly Activities
Aside from Disneyland, there are plenty of family-friendly activities in Hong Kong. You can visit Ocean Park, a marine-themed amusement park, or take a tram ride up to Victoria Peak for stunning views of the city skyline. The Hong Kong Science Museum and the Hong Kong Space Museum are also great options for educational and interactive experiences.
Transportation and Safety
Getting around Hong Kong with kids is relatively easy thanks to its efficient public transportation system. The MTR (subway) is clean, safe, and stroller-friendly, making it a convenient way to travel around the city. Taxis are also readily available, but be prepared for traffic congestion during peak hours.
In terms of safety, Hong Kong is generally a safe destination for families. Just remember to keep an eye on your children in crowded areas and teach them basic safety rules like not talking to strangers and staying close to you at all times.
Final Thoughts
Overall, traveling to Hong Kong with kids can be a memorable experience filled with fun and adventure. By planning ahead, choosing family-friendly activities, and prioritizing safety, you can ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip for the whole family. Have a fantastic time exploring all that Hong Kong has to offer!
