Ho Chi Minh I did a city tour on the back of a motorcycle. Great way to get through the traffic. Went to Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office, walked through a market, and a Chinese Temple.
I stayed near the large Ben Thanh Market that was also near a large park.

Hong Kong get a two day Hop On Hop Off Bus Pass. It includes ticket to Victoria Peak, Star Ferry and other attractions. Two routes includes Stanley, which has a market. And the night tour. Go to the Promenade for the laser light show. And a day tour to the Big Buddha and fishing village.

Been to HCMC but other than the other lady I've got no recommendations. I loved Hoi An and Hanoi and Mui Né much more than HCMC
