Mecico City airport is the biggest dump ive had the displeasure to fly through. It make Newark seem like an amazing place. I avoid that airport at all costs.

Just ensure that if you are connecting that you insist on getting your boarding passes all the way through. They way over book their flights and will use any reason to bump you... At least that was our experience.

I wasn’t able to check in online for my recent flights - in either direction. In fact, I got a message saying there was a problem with my reservation and needed to contact them by phone. The phone agent was like, “I don’t know what the problem is, I can’t help you figure it out and I can’t help you check in or select seats, so you’d better go to the airport very early to see if they can help you there.” I ended up making my flights, but they didn’t exactly present an image of competence.

Hi, just returned from from Panama via mexico city, we used aeromexico and cannot say enough good things, from easy check in , on time flights , and very good free food, and coctails, beer and even a decent tequila. Mexico city airport is a breeze too, from all the horror stories i heard not true , we rolled through customs and immigration twice in under 30 minutes. overall very easy travel, even Air Panama which i heard bad things about was awsome!
