Majestic elegance or mirage were fantastic. There is an adult only side

The Excellence resorts are amazing! There's Punta Cana and El Carmen both are adult only. No restaurant reservations and always a lounger by the pool or on the beach available. Not to mention the staff go above and beyond to make your stay the best experience ever!

We are booked into the Royalton Bavaro resort in Punta Cana. Looks amazing but haven’t been there yet!

We stayed at the Bahia Principe Turquesa and would absolutely stay there again. The resort was great, the food was fantastic, and snorkeling/swimming at the beach was really fun
Erin
Stayed at Majestic Colonial and it was quite fantastic. Adults only side. Would recommend cocobongo for sure as a night out.

Occidental Grand is great as are Caribe Club and Princess Club. For tours... A dune buggy tour takes you to a few cool places complete with a visit to fresh water cave (grotto). Manati Park is an all day visit. Depending where you stay there may be opportunity for off resort shopping for touristy items. Most vendors will bargain. Keep in mind they are only commissioned based. If they don't sell, often they don't eat. Must buys are Brugal rum. Larimar is the national stone..beautiful. Captain Cooks great beach front seafood restaurant. Expensive but well worth if you want a special evening off resort.

Loved the Paradisus Punta Cana! Highly recommend the Royal service there. Great food!

We stayed at the Bavaro Princess resort in Punta Cana. It was amazing, so beautiful. Great service, lots of variety for food. We did a day trip on a catamaran/speed boat out to a little island (can’t recall the name) which was so fun, we also went ziplining which I highly recommend, and we went on a pirate boat cruise lol where they take you snorkelling, you get to interact with sting rays and swim with sharks (in a massive netted off area in the ocean so you don’t really see much of the sharks) but it was still lots of fun! You can also walk off the resort and go shopping and we did parasailing as well which is always fun.

We have been a few times and find it to be a lot like Mexico but always very windy, check the average temp for when you are thinking of going

Hi! Wanting to travel to Punta Cana sometime in the new year. Looking for recommendations on where to stay and what to see/do. (This will be an adult trip, so resort does not need to be kid friendly this time).
