I know your asking for Waikiki, but we just got back from a weeks stay in Ewa. We stayed in a super cute Reno’d cottage. The beach was maybe 30 secs away

VRBO is usually a better deal than a hotel room. And it's generally a bit quieter near the zoo end (east) of Waikiki. If you're renting a car be sure to check for additional parking fees or if free parking is included.
Jennifer
After staying in a VRBO condo I don’t think I could ever go back to a hotel. You get so much more for your money!
Guy
we stayed at the Banyan, rented with VRBO
Lori
VRBO - The Ilikai - Lagoon View or Harbor View. This is our go-to. Its outside of the main strip, but right on the beach. Beside the Hilton Hawaiian Village and just across the bridge from Ala Moana Mall.
Tammy
Thank you
Lana
Ilikai. 15 minute walk from center of Waikiki, less than 10 minute walk from Ala Moana Center.

Outrigger on the beach is my fave, right on the beach and close to everything
Tammy
That one would be great, so expensive though!
