Plitvice is stunning. Loved Split, Zadar, Korcula. Dubrovnik is more expensive than the rest of Croatia. You can get inexpensive lodging on booking.com - we got some great places. Enjoy - Croatia is one of our favorite places.

Plitvicka Jezera in Croatia is magical. I think you have to pre-buy entry tickets now if you're going in the summer time. Krka park is also wonderful, and not quite as busy. This is actually the last year you can swim in the water if you visit there. Hvar Island is great, lots to do, west side of the island for great partying, east side if you want to just relax. I highly recommend
SECRET HVAR travel agency if you head that way. They have awesome hiking and off road and wine tours.

I took a 1 week boat cruise around Croatia and it was wonderful. . I paid $800 for the week. On a very basic sail boat with young people. It was a great way to see croatia.
I went to Greece as well. I would say get out of Athens as quickly as possible Max 2 to 3 days then head to the islands. They're all lovely. Corfu was amazing. So is Santorini and Mykonos.
I think I ferried from Corfu to Italy. Then ferry back over. 2 Dubrovnik to start the cruise

Hi Sarah, I haven’t been to Croatia, but I have been to Greece; it is one my favourite places on the planet! Athens is a must, but only spend up to 2 days there, then move on. Corfu is a fun pretty island, but the absolute best is the Cyclades islands!! Santorini, Naxos, Paros, Ios, Lesbos, Mykonos, etc. Then of course Crete is a must as well, followed by Rhodes...i could go on! (But if you’re budget minded I might avoid Mykonos; it’s a bit too touristy anyway)

Zadar has a fantastic glass museum and super cool "sea organ"; beautiful small city. Split also amazing. Do a tour of Diocletian's Palace. Fewer tourists than Dubrovnik, which is sadly overrun by cruise tourist flooding in by their thousands. Island of Krk.

Loooooved Naxos. We stayed close to the pier which has the main strip of all the restaurants. The beach is not a far walk, Also lots of places to stay right close to the beach. Beach chairs available for rent, great service.
Santorini is always good if you’ve never been. The volcano tour was pretty cool. Definitely need to go to Oia on the island to watch the sunset. Depending when you’re going will likely be busy but worth it even for a few days. Mykonos I thought was overrated and super expensive. Paros was also another nice island.
