Hi! First of all, jealous! Those are lovely places to visit. Ljubljana: Go on a graffiti art walking tour; check out Skocjan Caves and check out their farmers' market.
Venice: See Murano! Have fun at the Doge's Palace, do not feed the pigeons!

Chris Tung Absolutely! The graffiti art walking tour ends up in this "anarchist" area where it's quite the contrast with the rest of LJ (it's safe though, like the rest of the country. Slovenia is the greenest country in the world, apparently (but via your research, you might already know that).

Chris Tung Ah I had the same dilemma but went with Skocjan because it's less touristy so we thought we could have more space and time to appreciate the magnificence of the caves. It was fantastic! But I'm sure either one is good!
