Steak Shack, small place - good food. California Kitchen, good salads - something for everyone. Hula Grill at Outrigger Waikiki on the beach has great breakfasts. Cheesecake Factory, large menu but can be a lineup. Used to be some great local spots, but some had closed so not sure what is there. I found Yelp gave some good local spots outside of Waikiki.

Last time I went there, I checked out Groupon for deals on parasailing (so much fun), catamaran tours, scooter and bike rentals and food - they usually have “Go Cards” as well which gets you discounts on many touristy things (Dole Plantation, snorkeling)

Get a pass for Biki, it’s bicycle share. A great way to get around. We did it about 6 years ago. At that time it was only $20 for a month pass.
