Question:
Humans say...
Kristen
Not that one but their one In Mazatlan. Riu is amazing. Everyone I know who has stayed at any of them was very happy!
Jamie
I loved it! It was great! Definitely recommend.
Tracy
Did u stay recently?? How was the food and I see negative comments about the hotel needs renos with lots of cracks and holes in the building
Jamie
Last Valentine's. Food was awesome. Huge selection. Restaurants were really good and lots to eat at buffet. No complaints on food! I don't pay attention to walls when I'm on vacation but nothing bad stood out. Some people look for things to complain about.
Jamie
Staff were all great. Room was clean. Beach was beautiful and plenty of beach chairs. I would definitely go back.
Brooklyn
I've been to 4 Riu's and have nothing bad to say
Cindy
I stayed there about 5 years ago. It was nice. And walking distance to Bucerias which was awesome! You can also take the city bus to PV with one transfer at the mall.
Kelli
^^^I was there around the same time and echo this
Tracy
What is Bucerias?
Cindy
A small town
Kelli
Markets and beach and whatnot
Cindy
There is a decent sized market there, restaurants, stores etc.
Sandy
Great bar- yoyomos, run by a calgarian
Molnar
it's a good hotel, but has a tiny beach, and only one pool, annoying when people jump next to you, we prefer in bucerias the royal decameron it is a couple of hotels further down but better beach, larger resort, at elast 5 pools, also adults only section/pool and family friendly children/pool.
Kristen
I’ve stayed at Royal Decameron as well. It’s a nice resort. A bit dated. You can walk right into Bucerias from there to go touring, market, restaurants etc. it’s 3 Star I think.
Molnar
it's a 4 star, yes they all go dated slowly. Riu in Mazatlan is way better, if you're set on Riu
Kristen
Molnar Riu In Mazatlan was pretty great I must say. Food was much better too but Royal Decameron has much more to do in the area.
Judith
Kristen That's 'cause it's IN Bucerias.
Kristen
Judith I know. We loved it for that. Rather than being in resort row!
Molnar
i agree Kristen loved Riu Mazatlan, the only thing what ruined our trip was the not so great weather, but that can happen anywhere
between nayarit Riu and decameron in bucerias would choose all the time decameron, really good food, the italian, and brazilian steakhouse are amazing, and is a larger resort so you don't have to fight for chairs all the time, but that's personal again. Plus it's a really short walk to the small village you can walk on beach too. But if you're not set on the destination Tracy go to Riviera Maya, Barcelo , doesn't matter which there are 5 hotels in 1, didn';t find a hotel which topped it yet

We stayed at Riu Palace Pacifico and loved it. The two sister ones just down the beach are Riu Vallarta and Riu Jalisco. I know several people that have stayed at both and they gave them the THUMBS up! I prefer the Pacific side of Mexico as the weather is more consistent!
Jamie
I didn't find the beach tiny compared to other resorts in Mexico, but yes more pools would be nice.
Barb
We stayed at Riu Jalisco (next door) spent a day at the Riu Vallarta. Quite enjoyable!
David
We’ve stayed at all 3 riu’s in pv, the palace has better food and alcohol, all of them are big with many people, in order to get a good chair at pool or beach you need to get up early and stake your claim, food is average.. beach is very nice to walk, flamingos Vegas Vallarta is a way better hotel but more money.
Gemma
Just stayed there in October no complaints from me!!
Rosa
Very nice a highly recommend it.
Jessica
It was very nice
Sandy
We have stayed at all the RUIs in Nuevo Vallarta, we think they are all great resorts. I feel that Vallarta is great for couples any age and young families.
Vella
Have stayed in 3 RIUs and they are all great resorts. We stayed at Riu Palace in Nuevo and loved it.
Bonny
Just do not stay next door at the Samba!
Catherin
Kaleigh is this where you guys stayed?
Kaleigh
We were Riu Jalisco in Vallarta
Laurie
The are all really nice. Riu Jalisco has an adult only pool, if you prefer that.
Renée
I stayed here a few years ago. The beach was nice with lots of chairs but there was no drink delivery on the beach. There is only 1 pool for adults but it was fine. The food was decent too. I'd wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Jim
I stay at the Jalisco next door,,a bit cheaper and everyone tends to come to the Jalisco to have fun. Been 12 times would choose the Jalisco over the Vallarta anytime
Kara-Lei
I did... It was ok
Shayla
We stayed here and it was beautiful! The food was amazing and the resort was clean and gorgeous. Highly recommend!
Steven
I had a blast here!!! Been twice. Great resort.
Kam
