I stayed at the waka waka hostel and it was awesome! They have connections to tours and henna and cooking classes. I went a couple years ago but it was like 10 euros a night, and if you're willing to sleep under the stars on the roof then it's only 7 euros! They also had shisha and breakfast was included plus a Tagine dinner once a week

This looks awesome. Filing that for future!

I had a great stay at Les Borjs de la Kasbah inside the medina. Easy walking to the mosque and Jemaa el-Fna. Great rooms, fantastic food. Great help with tours and local transit as well.

After two visits to Marrakech and staying in a handful of different Riads, Riad Malika http://www.riadmalika.com/en/ blew my mind. It was also some of the best breakfast I'd had anywhere.

Riad Mirage in the medina is perfect. Great food and service as well.
