Check with Walks of Italy. We took lots of tours through them They are a great company, friendly and prompt.

We took the local train to Pompei for the day. Very easy. Also, we went down to the marina and took the fairy to Capri. A fellow there sold us a tour on Capri - very reasonable. I'd check tripadvisor to find the highest rated companies offering tours down the Amalfi coast.

Yes this!! We also took the local train to Pompeii, and just went down to a marina and found a ferry to Positano for the day. No special tours or anything, and reasonably priced.

Ristorante Bagni Delfino in Sorrento is a lovely restaurant. Sorrento is a good base to check out Pompeii, Capri and Postiano all must see!! We were there for 5 days with a 3 year old and just beautiful!

We took a boat tour that stopped in Amalfi and Positano - it was amazing to see these towns from the water, rising up in the hills. We also took the ferry to Capri and once there we took a boat tour around the island -best 18 euro we spent!
Sharon
we took them from Rome only.
