Usually flying from Vancouver to Mexico, "all inclusive" includes flight, hotel, transportation to and from airport, all food and booze. I have never booked the flight separately.
Look for a hotel that mentions having a "kids club".

have never heard of an all in that did not include flights. you would need to go direct to properties website and book from there..usually all booked by tour operators doing packages. personally I never to all in,,just hate it
Tracy
Gotta ask...if u have never tried it, how do u know u hate it? Lol
I've been to 14 different ones in Mexico and haven't been to a bad one yet.

We did one in Cabo. It's not our scene. I like local beach palapa scene like La ManZanilla and funky houses or condos where I am I dependant to do what I like. Laying by the pool and drinking beer all day or belly up to the buffet is not my Mexico. Street tacos and local culture. Sayulita Barra de Navidad. Anywhere there is no mega resorts. We especially like la Manz village. 4 k of flat beach and calm ocean. kayak and SUP daily.

We are heading back to PV and Punta next month. Staying at a cool local place in the old town and the a nice ocean front condo in Punta for the second part. Street restaurants local bars and shops. Practice my Spanish. Love it.
