Marianne, that sounds amazing! Try messaging Tim & Kate H., they were just in Italy for their last big family vacation

Hi Sunja. I'll see what they say. Thanks.

HotelPlus Florence , it's a Hostel/Hotel . I was a little bit skeptical with the word Hostels but our group of 4 (Senior, a teenager and 2 ladies in their late 40's) were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the place with all their amenities . It's about 8 minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella train station & 2 min walk to the San Lorenzo market.
Marianne
Thank you.

There are some great properties in Florence on airbnb! We were there in July had a lovely little place just around the corner from the Duomo for a very reasonable price. I think that particular apartment would be too small for 4, but I'd definitely check out Airbnb.

won't speak to places to stay, but make sure you check out la prosciutteria for delicious porchetta sandwhiches, and there's a place called
Enoteca Pitti Gola e Cantina that's amazing if you're looking for food and wine. They have lots of different wines you can try by the glass, all locally sourced and wonderful!
Marianne
Will definitely check out that restaurant. Thanks for the info.
