We stayed at the Sandals but the name has changed now? But adult only lovely beach & food was really good for Cuba beds are hard but rooms are nice, big resort . Out door lounge was awesome entertainment was amazing, scuba lessens and diving and sailing all included. Close to little village and 2-3 hours from Havana

We went to the Blau Varadero at the end of the peninsula (Not the Marina Hotel). It was really nice, the beaches were NOT crowded at all. I would go again. I think there are different sections to the resort though, some more expensive. We were about 4 unit blocks north of the lobby. Only about a 10 minute walk which was great. 3-5 minutes to the beach.

Private tour sounds awesome! We did the group tour and really enjoyed it too. Our tour guide gave us a lot of information! A lot of history I didn't know about. Would highly recommend a tour of Havana.

Found a GREAT little restaurant on the beach in Varadero. Ranchon Cielo Mar. At the end of a short street on the beach, next to the museum. Beautiful spot & good food! Make sure you use another bathroom before you go there though......

Royalton Hicacos is fantastic! We went this past Xmas and the food was amazing...staff great, best Xmas holiday by far.
