Definitely go see the La Boufadora. And then get Shrimp tacos from the sketchy looking hut at the entrance. They were hands down the best shrimp tacos I have ever had and I have been all over Mexico.

Thanks Brigitte!

There is a zip line place called Las Canadas Canopy Tour??? It's at a campground. They have zip lines and bridges, etc... it was pretty good. There's not alot IMO in Ensenada for kids..
We went on a non-cruise ship day and it was pretty much us and another couple. Not sure if ship days would be crazy.

There's lots of cheap(ish) horseback riding right on the beach. Take a cab to Playa Hermosa boardwalk and you'll see guys there.
Greg
Of if you do the La Bufadora tour (kids will think it's boring) you can get the bus driver to drop you off at Playa Hermosa on the way back instead of downtown for shopping -- you'll have to get a cab back to the cruise terminal.

Thanks Greg! I read a blog that there is a science museum that is interesting for kids.

We took the bus into town and while we were on it, they had some people trying to get us on their tour bus for cheap to go to the Blow hole, and the market. A bunch of us did do it. It was cheap, and they really did take care of us and helped us in the market with advice and special treats that we wouldn't have done otherwise. Blow hole is neat to see, but boring after 5 min.

We have a day in Ensenada, Mexico on our cruise. Best cheap family friendly activities to do?
Is there a local ranch that will allow young children to go horseback riding? My youngest is too young to go on the cruise ship horseback riding tour but I would be comfortable riding with him in front of me.
Thanks!
