Hi everyone,
I plan on traveling by myself next year around June for about two weeks. Any suggestions where I should go? Some place safe, lots of history, friendly and fun.
Thanks in advance!

Shelly I agree. I felt safe the whole time. And everyone thought I was French - they kept asking me for directions which I found hilarious.

I also did France in June and had a brilliant time. Bordeaux and that entire region was safe and beautiful! Although I hear Japan is excellent for solo travelers also. Next on my list! I have done Costa Rica with G Adventures in the past and it was perfect too.

Germany is a great place to visit with Berlin and Munich as two awesome cities with tons of history and are extremely safe where the worst thing that might happen is getting pick pocketed. If you go to Berlin, East Berlin is way better then West Berlin with more independent restaurants and shops and great architecture while the West I found to be over commercialized with lots of McDonald’s and Dunkin Donuts all over. Hope you have fun where ever you go.

Depends on your budget on, but Hawaii, Bali, Thailand (stay away from Bangkok, but the rest is great), Belize and Switzerland were all super safe and meet your requirements of what you wrote.

Did Austria/Germany/Italy last year and it was fantastic. Frankfurt and Munich are both central hubs to take trains everywhere - and usually you can find flights from Italy to Germany for 100 dollars +/-

I travel a lot on my own. Australia, New Zealand are great. I hear Portugal is the 4th safest country in the world, lots of beaches, culture, it's cheaper than Spain, people are friendly, there's wine and good food! There's lots of history and religion. El Camino walk.
