Break down the pkg. Book air out of Bellingham, either Allegient or Alaska, book hotel by self. Usually Disney passes are avail at hotel for equal price as pre-sale. We stayed at Residence Inn which included room, breakfast & happy hr. Walking distance and 24 hr pool.

If you are driving, SNA or John Wayne airport are both closer than Lax.

Southern California city pass is awesome! 5 days in Disneyland is a lot! Especially in the fall when lines are shorter. Couple of super cheap hotels right across the street, you're never in it anyway. Del Sol was one we've stayed in

We went last May and got flights from Seattle to SNA for $550 cad for the 4 of us , super good deal ! I just kept looking on google flights. Our hotel was just over $1000 CAD for 7 nights , it was the best western about a 10 min walk. We got our disney passes and universal passes at Flight center and I think I paid over $2000 for those ! The park passes cost more than my flights and hotel together lol ! We still didn't get to do everything that we wanted to in Disney ! Can't wait to go back but will be waiting until star wars land opens !

We used westjet vacations in February. 8 nights air and hotel was $2200 for 4. Another $1400 ish for 5 day passes through them but tickets were 25% off for Canadians a few months back.

For 7 nights that's not a bad price.

Disneyland Vacation Pricing
You're considering a family vacation to Disneyland for 7 days between the end of September and mid-November 2017. The current prices you're getting are just over $5,000, including airfare from YVR to SNA, hotel, 5-day park hopper passes, and a 1-day Universal pass. You're wondering if this is a good price.
Here are some factors to consider when evaluating the price:
- Time of year: September and October are typically less crowded than other times of the year, so you may be able to get a better deal on your hotel and airfare. However, November is a popular time for families to visit Disneyland, so prices may be higher.
- Length of stay: A 7-day vacation is a significant investment, so you'll want to make sure you're getting a good value for your money. However, keep in mind that the longer you stay, the more you'll save on a per-day basis.
- Type of hotel: There are a variety of hotels to choose from near Disneyland, ranging from budget-friendly options to luxury resorts. The type of hotel you choose will have a significant impact on the overall cost of your vacation.
- Park tickets: Park tickets are one of the biggest expenses of a Disneyland vacation. The 5-day park hopper passes you're considering will give you access to both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. If you're planning on spending a lot of time in the parks, then these passes may be worth the cost. However, if you're only planning on visiting the parks for a few hours each day, then you may be able to save money by purchasing single-day tickets.
Ultimately, the best way to determine if the price you're getting is a good deal is to compare it to other similar vacation packages. You can do this by searching online or by contacting a travel agent. Once you have a few different quotes, you can compare the prices, amenities, and inclusions to find the best option for your family.
Here are some additional tips for saving money on your Disneyland vacation:
- Book your trip in advance. The earlier you book, the more likely you are to get a good deal on your airfare and hotel.
- Consider visiting during the off-season. September and October are typically less crowded than other times of the year, so you may be able to save money on your hotel and airfare.
- Take advantage of discounts and promotions. Disneyland offers a variety of discounts and promotions throughout the year, so be sure to check their website before you book your trip.
- Pack your own food and drinks. Food and drinks can be expensive in Disneyland, so save money by packing your own. You can bring snacks and drinks into the parks, and there are also plenty of places to eat outside of the parks.
- Take advantage of free activities. There are a lot of free activities to enjoy at Disneyland, such as watching the parades, exploring the shops, and taking pictures with the characters.
With a little planning, you can have a magical Disneyland vacation without breaking the bank.

Looking for family a vacation to Disneyland (2 adults, 2 kids aged 13 & 10). Any time between end of September and mid-November, 2017. Prices I'm getting currently (for 7 days) are just over $5k including air from YVR to SNA, hotel, 5-day park hopper passes and 1-day Universal. That seems a bit high to me....but what do I know. Thoughts?
