Stay right in back Bay, or maybe at the leominster in Kenmore square. Strongly suggest flying from Buffalo, parking will be at least 30 a day. Also forgot. Have to have breakfast at Steve's Greek food. A Boston tradition. Also KJs deli in Brookline on Harvard Ave.

Highly recommend a walking tour of the Freedom Trail (we used Freedomtrail.org). Also have a walk around Harvard. Neptune's Oyster is great. You should also try cannoli's. There are two places which come highly recommended so try both and see which you like (Mike's Pastry and Modern Pastry). And Beacon Hill is beautiful to walk around as is the public garden and Boston Common. We also enjoyed the shopping on Newbury Street. Boston is a small city so you can see alot in 4 days!

We love the South End. Great understated Italian restaurant is Coppa. Not touristy. Locals walk there.

If you're into craft beer, Lamplighter Brewing in Cambridge is a great spot. Excellent brews, and Cambridge itself is worth spending some time exploring.
And if the weather is bad at all, the JFK Museum and library is worth the visit. It's a little out of the way, but it is accessible via the Red Line and a free shuttle bus.

Get a Lobster Tail from Mike’s. It’s a pastry but in the shape of a lobster tail. The filling is so much better than a cannoli.
