Is it convenient to travel from Paris to Besançon, France with luggage?

Question:

Hello everyone I booked a flight in May to go to France, however I am going to Besançon (4 hours away) France to see my cousins after a few days of being in Paris. Is the train/bus station close and central to Paris. Is it ideal to travel with luggage?. My cousin told me the Basel airport in Switzerland is about an hour and 20 min away from her do you by any chance know if the bus and trains are frequent. My friends are picking me up from the Basel airport since they live like an hour and 30 min away after being in Besançon for a few days I plan to travel to Switzerland.

. Any tips from pairs to Besançon ?. I'll be travelling with a luggage and carry on. I'm just thinking if I'm better off taking a flight or taking the train or bus.

Flight is probably going to be cheapest, but see what you can find. Train will be pretty quick too.

Pretty easy to get to Basel from Paris. Trains are fast and not too expensive. Shouldn't be a problem to have luggage. Flight might be even cheaper. Look at some of the budget carriers for your dates.

Traveling to France and Switzerland

Hello everyone,

I am so excited to be traveling to France in May to visit my cousins in Besançon after spending a few days in Paris. One question that has been on my mind is about transportation in Paris and Basel, Switzerland.

Transportation in Paris

The train and bus stations in Paris are quite central and easily accessible. If you are traveling with luggage, it is ideal to take a taxi or use public transportation to get to your destination. The stations are well-equipped to handle travelers with luggage, so you should have no problem getting around.

Transportation in Basel, Switzerland

Basel airport in Switzerland is about an hour and 20 minutes away from Besançon. The bus and train services in Basel are frequent and reliable, so you should have no trouble getting to your cousin's place. It's great that your friends are picking you up from the airport, as it will save you time and hassle.

After spending some time in Besançon, you plan to travel to Switzerland. Basel is a beautiful city with lots to see and do, so I'm sure you will have a fantastic time there!

Safe travels and enjoy your trip!
