there are all clean nice places but be prepared it may not always up to par as they have limited resources made available to them due to old trade embargos. if ur expecting same caliber as mexico or dominican republic u will be sadly disappointed. its the culture & pple that make up Cuba as well as lack of American prescence.

debbies carribean travel used to be pretty comprehensive for reviews. However, Ive been there 19 times, and it has to be realized that its a very poor country lacking many of the things we take for granted. For example, resorts have little access to meats, and foods that are not imported. So, you will have to plan with that in mind - things like spices and flavors we have arent available there. at all.
