Tel Aviv is pretty small so while (obviously) tips are helpful, I wouldn't sweat it too much unless you want to be super close to specific amenities.

Yah it all depends on what you’re planning on doing.
All the fun stuff is near the water....and the beach stretches the entire city for the most part.
If you’re renting a car or not....being near the metro/bus depot might be nice.....not into the beach thing and more into the history aspect etc....if you wanna spend more time in Jaffa then the south side would be better....
End of the day...the place is tiny. I even drove from Eilat to Haifa in a couple hours

Thanks, won't have a car.

Where to Stay in Tel Aviv for 3 Nights
Tel Aviv, the vibrant Mediterranean city in Israel, is a fantastic destination for a 3-night stay. It offers a unique blend of culture, history, and modern amenities. When it comes to choosing the right area for your Airbnb, there are a few top contenders to consider.
1. Old Jaffa (Yafo)
If you're looking for a charming and historic area, Old Jaffa (Yafo) is an excellent choice. This ancient port city is known for its narrow alleyways, art galleries, and quaint cafes. You'll be surrounded by beautiful architecture, including the iconic clock tower and St. Peter's Church. The Jaffa Flea Market is a must-visit for its vibrant atmosphere and unique finds. While Old Jaffa is slightly removed from the city center, it offers a quieter and more relaxed vibe.
2. Neve Tzedek
Neve Tzedek is a trendy neighborhood located just south of Old Jaffa. It's renowned for its charming streets lined with boutique shops, art galleries, and upscale cafes and restaurants. This area has a hip and artistic vibe, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a lively yet sophisticated atmosphere. The Suzanne Dellal Center is a cultural hub hosting dance performances and events.
3. Rothschild Boulevard
Rothschild Boulevard is a centrally located area known for its tree-lined streets and beautiful Bauhaus architecture. This area is perfect for those who want to be in the heart of the city, with easy access to restaurants, bars, and nightlife. The iconic Independence Trail, a self-guided tour of historical sites, starts from Rothschild Boulevard. Additionally, nearby Dizengoff Street offers excellent shopping opportunities.
4. Tel Aviv Beach Promenade
If you're the type who loves to wake up to the sound of crashing waves, consider staying near the Tel Aviv Beach Promenade. This area offers numerous beachfront Airbnb options, allowing you to enjoy the sea breeze and stunning sunsets. The promenade itself is a lively stretch with restaurants, cafes, and outdoor activities like cycling and beach volleyball. You'll also be within walking distance of the bustling city center.
No matter which area you choose, Tel Aviv offers a unique blend of history, culture, and modern amenities. Consider your preferences, such as proximity to attractions, nightlife, or a more relaxed atmosphere, to make the best choice for your 3-night stay.
